Open in One Side of Bus 1 Branch Line [06/2018 - 09/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN ONE SIDE OF CAN BRANCH LINE 
    1. Based on the vehicle equipment and specifications, confirm the systems that use CAN communication.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2021 - 09/2022]

    2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    4. Turn the Techstream on.
    5. Using the Techstream, perform "CAN Bus Check".

      CAN Bus Check 

    6. Observe the screen for approximately 2 minutes to check for ECUs and sensors that are displayed as not communicating.
    7. Perform the inspection as specified in the Problem Symptoms Table for the ECUs or sensors that are not communicating.

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    GO TO CORRESPONDING COMMUNICATION STOP MODE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [06/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2020 - ]
