Removal [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 7 clips.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the cool air intake duct seal as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Insert Screwdriver Here
      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the screw and front bumper side mounting bracket.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Remove the 8 screws.

    6. Disengage the 7 claws and guide as shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here
      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    7. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      *A w/ Pre-collision System
    8. w/ Pre-collision System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.
    9. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the connector.

      Remove in this Direction
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    10. Remove the 4 bolts.

    11. Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides to remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
