Rear Sunshade Shift-linked Function does not Operate when Shift Lever is Moved to R Position [06/2018 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (SHIFT POSITION SENSOR (R))
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Data List
Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Shift Position Sensor (R) Shift lever position sensor ON or OFF ON: Shift lever in R
OFF: Shift lever not in R- Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Data List
Tester Display Shift Position Sensor (R) OK
The Techstream display changes according to the shift position selected by using the shift lever.

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (REVERSE GEAR SIGNAL)
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
HINT:
Make sure that the rear window shade assembly is raised before performing the Active Test.

- Disconnect the N63 rear sunshade relay connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
