DTC B1920: Short in Rear P/T Squib (RH) Circuit; DTC B1921: Open in Rear P/T Squib (RH) Circuit; DTC B1922: Short in Rear P/T Squib (RH) Circuit (to Ground); DTC B1923: Short in Rear P/T Squib (RH) Circuit (to +B) [06/2018 - ]: Description

The rear pretensioner squib RH circuit consists of the airbag ECU assembly and rear seat outer belt assembly RH.

The airbag ECU assembly uses this circuit to deploy the pretensioner when deployment conditions are met.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the rear pretensioner squib RH circuit.

  • The airbag ECU assembly detects a line short in the rear pretensioner squib RH circuit during the primary check.

  • Rear pretensioner squib RH (Rear seat outer belt assembly RH)
  • Airbag ECU assembly

  • The airbag ECU assembly detects an open in the rear pretensioner squib RH circuit.
