Tilt and Telescopic ECU Communication Stop Mode [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the G63 multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G63-1 (GND) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω
   G63-8 (GND2) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G63-9 (ECUB) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
   G63-10 (IG) - Body ground	Engine switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
