Door Mirror ECU LH Communication Stop Mode [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K11-9 (CANP) - K11-8 (CANN) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH) 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K11-7 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω

      (to Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly LH)
    2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      K11-5 (SIG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      K11-6 (CPUB) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      K11-14 (BDR) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
