Removal [07/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [07/2022 - ]

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER 
    1. Disengage the claws to remove the No. 1 relay block cover.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws.

      *a Protective Tape
    2. Pull up the No. 1 integration relay.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the No. 1 integration relay, take care not to damage it.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the No. 1 integration relay.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the No. 1 integration relay, take care not to damage it.
