Removal [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips, and disengage the 6 clamps to remove the front floor cover LH from the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE 
    1. Remove the 12 bolts and 3 front floor center braces from the vehicle body.

  4. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) 
    WARNING:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

    1. Disconnect the No. 2 air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).

    4. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
    5. Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).
  6. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
