Removal [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE
- REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
*A Type A *B Type B - Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.
- Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Disconnect the No. 2 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
- Disengage the clamp.
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).
- Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
- Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).
- Disconnect the No. 2 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
- REMOVE NO. 2 AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
