Disassembly [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and shift position indicator from the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the lower position indicator housing from the shift lock control unit assembly.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the lower position indicator housing.
