- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Sport Mode Switch, Normal Mode Switch.

Tester Display Sport Mode Switch Normal Mode Switch - Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

- Disconnect the F59 hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.
- Disconnect the F135 drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
