Removal [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH

Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips, and disengage the 6 clamps to remove the front floor cover LH from the vehicle body.

REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE

Remove the 12 bolts and 3 front floor center braces from the vehicle body.

REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

WARNING:

To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.
Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)

WARNING:

To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

Disconnect the No. 2 air fuel ratio sensor connector.

Disengage the clamp.

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).

Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).

REMOVE NO. 2 AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
