Removal [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 1 VACUUM HOSE CONNECTOR 
    1. Pinch the retainer of the No. 1 vacuum hose connector, and then pull the No. 1 vacuum hose connector off of the vacuum pump assembly.
      NOTE:

      Be sure to disconnect the No. 1 vacuum hose connector by hand.

      *a Retainer
      Pinch
      Pull off
  3. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamp to separate the engine wire.
    3. Remove the 3 bolts and separate the engine wire.
    4. Disconnect the 7 connectors.

    5. Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the engine wire.
    6. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    7. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts and separate the engine wire.
  4. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 3 bolts and vacuum pump assembly from the engine assembly.

    2. Remove the No. 1 vacuum pump O-ring from the vacuum pump assembly.
