REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM

HINT:

When removing the symbol emblem, heat the symbol emblem using a heat light.

Standard

Symbol Emblem	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

WARNING:

Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.

Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

NOTE:

Do not heat the symbol emblem excessively.

Apply protective tape around the symbol emblem.

	Protective Tape

Using a moulding remover D, disengage the location pins to remove the symbol emblem.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the back door outside lower panel.
Remove the protective tape.

REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE (for 2WD)

HINT:

When removing the No. 2 back door name plate, heat the No. 2 back door name plate using a heat light.

Do not heat the No. 2 back door name plate excessively.

Apply protective tape around the No. 2 back door name plate.

*b	Piano Wire
	Protective Tape

Insert piano wire between the back door outside lower panel and No. 2 back door name plate.
Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.
Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the No. 2 back door name plate to the back door outside lower panel.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the back door outside lower panel.
Remove the No. 2 back door name plate.

REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE (for AWD)

HINT:

When removing the No. 2 back door name plate, heat the No. 2 back door name plate using a heat light.

Insert piano wire between the back door outside lower panel and No. 2 back door name plate.

NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the back door outside lower panel.
Remove the No. 2 back door name plate.

REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT FENDER NAME PLATE (for Sport Package)

HINT:

When removing the No. 1 front fender name plate, heat the No. 1 front fender name plate using a heat light.

WARNING:

Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.
Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the No. 1 front fender name plate to the vehicle body.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Remove the No. 1 front fender name plate.
