Removal [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

Refer to REMOVAL [10/2018 - ]

1. Remove the 2 clips.

2. Loosen the clip A to remove the No. 2 floor under cover.
   NOTE:

   The clip A cannot be removed from the No. 2 floor under cover.

1. Disconnect the connector.
   NOTE:

   Do not touch the terminal of the kick door control sensor connector.

2. remove the 4 clips.

3. Loosen the clip labeled A in the illustration, and then remove the rear body floor rear cover.
   NOTE:

   The clip labeled A in the illustration cannot be removed from the rear body floor rear cover.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Disengage the claws and guides to remove the kick door control bracket.

1. Disengage the clamps to remove the kick door control sensor in the order shown in the illustration.

   NOTE:

   • Do not subject the kick door control sensor to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.
   • Do not reuse a kick door control sensor which has been subjected to an impact or dropped.
   • Do not pull strongly on the wire.
   • Do not twist the wire.
   • Do not cross the red and black wires.
