Inspection [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH 
    1. Check the resistance.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Fuel Lid Opener Switch (Power Back Door Main Switch))
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (IG) - 3 (E) Pressed (ON) Below 1 Ω
        2 (IG) - 3 (E) Not pressed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Fuel Lid Opener Switch (Power Back Door Main Switch))

      Check that the LED illuminates.

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the fuel lid opener switch illuminates.

        OK

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) - 1 (ILL+)
        Auxiliary battery positive (-) - 5 (ILL-)        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
