DTC C124E-62: Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Compare Failure [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Read the DTCs following the prompts on the Techstream. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Trouble Codes.

      Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes

    4. Check the details of the DTCs.

      HINT:

When DTC C0500-1C, C0506-1C, C050C-1C and/or C0512-1C are output together with DTC C124E-62, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by DTC C0500-1C, C0506-1C, C050C-1C and/or C0512-1C first.

    See step  2

  2. PRE-CHECK
    1. Check that all 4 tires are of correct size, are inflated to the correct pressure, and do not show excessive signs of wear.

      Refer to INSPECTION [10/2018 - 07/2022]

      HINT:

If a tire is deformed or an incorrectly sized tire or wheel is installed, this DTC may be stored.

  3. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA (WHEEL SPEED AND VEHICLE SPEED)
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Trouble Codes.
    4. Select a DTC to display the Freeze Frame Data.
    5. Read the freeze frame data of DTC C124E-62.
