DTC C051D-54: Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Missing Calibration [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Utility / Reset Memory.
- Clear the zero point calibration data and system information.
Refer to UTILITY [10/2018 - 07/2022]
Chassis > Brake/EPB > Utility
Tester Display Reset Memory - Perform acceleration sensor zero point calibration and store system information memorization.
Refer to UTILITY [10/2018 - 07/2022]

- RECONFIRM DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Operate the Techstream to clear the codes. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Trouble Codes.
Chassis > Brake/EPB > Clear DTCs
- Press the DTC clear button.
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Read the DTCs following the prompts on the Techstream. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Trouble Codes.
Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes
- Check if the same DTC is output.

- Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) has been installed properly.

The yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) is not installed in a tilted position.
