Removal [10/2015 - 03/2018]: Procedure
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
- Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
- Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
- REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.
- Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)
