DTC C164B: Communication Error From Clearance Sonar ECU to VSC [08/2016 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Using the Techstream, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2016 - ]
HINT:
After turning the power switch from off to on (IG), wait 4 seconds or more before checking for DTCs.
Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes
- Clear the DTCs according to the screen on the Techstream.

- Recheck for DTCs.

HINT:
- If DTC C164B is not output after clearing the DTCs, an intermittent communication error between the clearance warning ECU assembly and skid control ECU assembly is suspected.
- If DTC C164B is output frequently, duplicate the conditions that cause the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though the DTC was not output when rechecking for DTCs.
