Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2015 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [12/2017 - ]

  2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [09/2015 - 07/2021], or see step  1 [07/2021 - ]

  3. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ]

  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and hose clamp.

    2. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose
    3. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and oil cooler assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 O-rings and No. 1 cylinder block insulator.
