Removal [09/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2015 - 12/2017]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2015 - 08/2016]

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL SUB 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  7. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Pull the radio receiver assembly with register toward the rear of the vehicle to disengage the 7 clips.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with register.
  8. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly as shown in the illustration.

      *a Protective Tape
      Insert Screwdriver Here
      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  10. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.
