Hazard Warning Switch Circuit [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2014 - 09/2017]

1. Remove the air conditioning control assembly (hazard warning switch).

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]

2. Inspect the air conditioning control assembly (hazard warning switch).

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ]

REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]

1. Disconnect the I13 air conditioning control assembly (hazard warning switch) connector.
2. Disconnect the I11 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I13-9 (HAZ) - I11-2 (HZSW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I13-11 (LJB) - I11-12 (HAZM)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I13-14 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I13-9 (HAZ) or I11-2 (HZSW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   I13-11 (LJB) or I11-12 (HAZM) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]
