DTC B2443: Lost Communication with Left Headlight and Right Headlight LIN [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 09/2017]

   Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs 

   Result

   Proceed to

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
2. Inspect the light using the dimmer switch.
3. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 09/2017]

   Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Proceed to
   DTC B2443 output does not occur
   DTC B2443 output occurs

Result: 

DTC B2443 output does not occur 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - 09/2017]

DTC B2443 output occurs

1. Disconnect the A19 headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
2. Disconnect the A20 headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A19-20 (LINL) - A20-20 (LINL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A19-20 (LINL) or A20-20 (LINL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Remove the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]

REPLACE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]
