Removal [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Hands Free Power Trunk Lid) 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Hands Free Power Trunk Lid) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Hands Free Power Trunk Lid) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE KICK DOOR CONTROL BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 6 LIDAR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. REMOVE REAR LIDAR ADVANCED DRIVE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Do not reuse the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
    • The rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly is a precision instrument. Take care not to damage it during removal and installation.
    • If the lens surface of the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly is dirty, install the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly after cleaning it with a soft cloth or the like while taking care not to damage it.
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly.
