Installation [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 SUB-BATTERY MULTI POWER BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 1 sub-battery multi power bracket to the multi power control sub-battery with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL MULTI POWER CONTROL SUB-BATTERY 
    NOTE:
    • If the multi power control sub-battery is subjected to an impact, replace it with a new one.
    • When storing the multi power control sub-battery, do not store for 24 hours or more on its side, flipped upside down or in a tilted condition.
    • If the multi power control sub-battery was replaced, turn the power switch to ON and then off with the shift position in P and wait 3 seconds to perform ECU learning.
    • Store the multi power control sub-battery in a location away from rainwater.
    • Do not stand on the multi power control sub-battery.
    • Refer to the table below for the combination of the multi power control ECU assembly and multi power control sub-battery.

    1. Install the multi power control sub-battery to the No. 2 sub-battery multi power bracket with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

    2. Engage the claw and connect the sub-battery multi power hose sub-assembly to the multi power control sub-battery.

      NOTE:

      Push in the sub-battery multi power hose sub-assembly until a click sound is heard.

  3. INSTALL SUB-BATTERY MULTI POWER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Only perform this procedure when replacement of the sub-battery multi power hose sub-assembly is necessary.

    1. Attach the grommet and install the sub-battery multi power hose sub-assembly to the center floor pan.

  4. CONNECT NO. 3 FLOOR WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

      Engage the clamp and connect the No. 3 floor wire to the No. 1 sub-battery multi power bracket and No. 2 sub-battery multi power bracket.

    2. Connect the earth wire to the No. 2 sub-battery multi power bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the 2 connectors.
    4. Connect the No. 3 floor wire to the DC/DC converter assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

    5. Engage the claw to close the No. 3 floor wire terminal cover.

      Install in this Direction
  5. INSTALL NO. 3 SUB-BATTERY MULTI POWER BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 3 sub-battery multi power bracket to the No. 1 sub-battery multi power bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  6. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  10. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2020 - ]

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2020 - 10/2023]

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  13. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [10/2022 - ]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
