Disassembly [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING COVER LH 
    1. Remove the 2 clips.
    2. Detach the claw and remove the rocker panel moulding cover LH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction - -
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE MUDGUARD PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    When removing the No. 1 side mudguard protector, heat the body rocker panel moulding assembly LH and No. 1 side mudguard protector using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item Temperature
    Body Rocker Panel Moulding Assembly LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    No. 1 Side Mudguard Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    1. Remove the No. 1 side mudguard protector.

  3. REMOVE FRONT ROCKER PANEL MOULDING END COVER LH 

    HINT: 

    When removing the front rocker panel moulding end cover LH, heat the body rocker panel moulding assembly LH and front rocker panel moulding end cover LH using a heat light.

    Standard

    Body Rocker Panel Moulding Assembly LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Front Rocker Panel Moulding End Cover LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      1. Remove the front rocker panel moulding end cover LH.

        Remove the front rocker panel moulding end cover LH.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR (CAULKING SPONGE) 

    HINT: 

    When removing the No. 1 rocker panel moulding protector, heat the body rocker panel moulding assembly LH and No. 1 rocker panel moulding protector using a heat light.

    Standard

    Body Rocker Panel Moulding Assembly LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    No. 1 Rocker Panel Moulding Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR (ALUMINUM TAPE) 

    HINT: 

    When removing the No. 1 rocker panel moulding protector, heat the body rocker panel moulding assembly LH and No. 1 rocker panel moulding protector using a heat light.

    Standard
