Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 
    1. Insert moulding remover B as shown in the illustration and push in the direction indicated by the arrow to slightly pull the bottom part of the instrument side panel LH away from the vehicle.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration, detach the clip in the removal order and remove the instrument side panel LH.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 
    1. Insert moulding remover B as shown in the illustration and push in the direction indicated by the arrow to slightly pull the bottom part of the instrument side panel RH away from the vehicle.

    2. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration, detach the clip in the removal order and remove the instrument side panel RH.

  5. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [10/2023 - ]

  7. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Pull the radio receiver assembly with bracket out toward the rear of the vehicle and detach the clip.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
  8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clip and remove the lower No. 2 instrument panel finish panel.
  9. REMOVE SWITCH WIRE 
    1. Detach the clamp and guide, and remove the switch wire.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 3 radio bracket.

  11. REMOVE NO. 4 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 4 radio bracket.
