Removal [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

NOTE:After the power switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the auxiliary negative (-) battery terminal.

- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR PAD PLATE

- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY WITH NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
- Detach the clamp.
- Disconnect the 4 connectors.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
*a Lever Connector - - Rotate in this Direction Protective Tape - Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and disconnect the 2 lever connectors.
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Detach the claw and remove the passenger side junction block assembly with network gateway ECU.
*a Lever Connector - - Rotate in this Direction Protective Tape - Disconnect the connector.
- Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and disconnect the 2 lever connectors.
- Detach the clamp.
- REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
