Inspection [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL SWITCH HOUSING 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Inspect the light switch circuit.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        (Steering Wheel Switch Housing)        		 - -

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        z1-2 (L_OFF) - A-2 (L_OFF) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-3 (T) - A-14 (T) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-4 (H) - A-5 (H) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-5 (A) - A-10 (A) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-6 (HU) - A-1 (HU) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-7 (HF) - A-6 (HF) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-13 (EL) - A-12 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-14 (AHB) - A-16 (AHB) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-15 (BLED) - A-15 (BLED) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-16 (ELED) - A-7 (ELED) Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

      2. Inspect the turn signal switch circuit.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        z1-8 (TR) - A-9 (TR) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-9 (TL) - A-3 (TL) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-10 (CR) - A-11 (CR) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-13 (EL) - A-12 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

      3. Inspect the wiper switch circuit.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        z1-24 (W_OFF) - z2-10 (W_OFF) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-25 (+S) - z2-13 (+S) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-26 (+1) - z2-11 (+1) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-27 (+2) - z2-12 (+2) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-28 (MIST) - z2-14 (MIST) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-29 (C1R) - z2-7 (C1R) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-30 (+1R) - z2-6 (+1R) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-31 (WF) - z2-15 (WF) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-32 (WR) - z2-9 (WR) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-33 (E) - z2-5 (E) Always Below 1 Ω
        z1-34 (VR) - z2-4 (VR) Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.
