Terminals Of Ecu [10/2020 - 10/2022]

  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    *1 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) - -
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]

    2. Connect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.

      A-32 (IG) - Body ground None - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      A-30 (ACC) - Body ground None - Body ground ACC power supply Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
      A-11 (GND1) - Body ground None - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2017 - 10/2023]

    4. Measure the voltage and pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Condition Power switch on (IG), material which blocks light used to cover and then uncover top of automatic light control sensor

      HINT: 

      The communication waveform changes according to the surrounding brightness.

  2. CHECK HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the A31 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A31-4 (IG) - Body ground LA-R - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A31-13 (ECUB) - Body ground G - Body ground Power supply Approximately 15 seconds elapsed after turning the power switch off Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) or within approximately 15 seconds of power switch being turned off 9.5 to 14 V
      A31-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the A31 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

      HINT: 

      • Since the A31 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector is a waterproof type connector, the voltage and pulses cannot be checked directly. The values listed are for reference only.
      • Since the B and C headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connectors are connected inside the headlight assembly, the voltage and pulses cannot be checked directly. The values listed are for reference only.
    4. Measure the voltage and check of pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the A32 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    3. Reconnect the A32 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.

      HINT: 

      • Since the A32 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector is a waterproof type connector, the voltage and pulses cannot be checked directly. The values listed are for reference only.
      • Since the B and C headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connectors are connected inside the headlight assembly, the voltage and pulses cannot be checked directly. The values listed are for reference only.
    4. Measure the voltage and check of pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [11/2021 - 10/2023]

  5. CHECK OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA (for Stereo Camera Type) 

    Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [10/2020 - 10/2022]

  6. CHECK FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA (for Mono Camera Type) 

    Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [10/2020 - 10/2022]

  7. CHECK NO. 1 SEMICONDUCTOR POWER INTEGRATION ECU 

    Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [10/2020 - 10/2023]

  8. CHECK NO. 3 SEMICONDUCTOR POWER INTEGRATION ECU 

    Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [10/2020 - 10/2023]
