DTC B15C6: Ignition Switch Signal Malfunction [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2017 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2017 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2018 - 09/2019]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2019 - 10/2020]

1. Disconnect the G56 DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G56-4 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   G56-7 (IG2) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

   NOTE:

   • The power switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
