DTC C169E-11: Side Camera (Right) Circuit Short to Ground [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Disconnect the L261 parking assist ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the H43 outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.

   Procedure1

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L261-1 (RCB+) - H43-2 (RCB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L261-2 (RGND) - H43-1 (RGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L261-1 (RCB+) or H43-2 (RCB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   L261-2 (RGND) or H43-1 (RGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

   Post-procedure1

   H43-2 (RCB+) - H43-1 (RGND)	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

2. Disconnect the outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   2 (RCB+) - B-4 (CB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   1 (RGND) - B-2 (CGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   2 (RCB+) or B-4 (CB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   1 (RGND) or B-2 (CGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
