DTC C168F-11: Side Camera (Left) Circuit Short to Ground [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Disconnect the L260 parking assist ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the H45 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.

   Procedure1

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L260-1 (LCB+) - H45-2 (RCB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L260-2 (LGND) - H45-1 (RGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L260-1 (LCB+) or H45-2 (RCB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   L260-2 (LGND) or H45-1 (RGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

   Post-procedure1

   H45-2 (RCB+) - H45-1 (LGND)	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

2. Disconnect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   2 (RCB+) - A-4 (CB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   1 (RGND) - A-2 (CGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   2 (RCB+) or A-4 (CB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   1 (RGND) or A-2 (CGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
