Check Bus 6 Line for Short to GND [11/2021 - 10/2022]: Description

There may be a short circuit between one of the CAN bus lines and GND when there is no resistance between terminal CA7H of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal CG of the DLC3, or terminal CA7N of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal CG of the DLC3.

Symptom Trouble Area
There is no resistance between terminal 31 (CA7H) of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal 4 (CG) of the DLC3, or terminal 32 (CA7L) of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal 4 (CG) of the DLC3.
  • Short to GND in CAN main bus wire
  • Short to GND in CAN branch wire
  • Central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU)
  • Suspension control ECU
  • Absorber control ECU
  • Tire pressure warning ECU and Receiver
  • Occupant detection ECU
  • No. 14 CAN junction connector
  • No. 1 CAN junction terminal
