Check Bus 4 Line for Short to GND [11/2021 - 10/2022]: Description

There may be a short circuit between one of the CAN bus lines and GND when there is no resistance between terminal CA2H of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal CG of the DLC3, or terminal CA2L of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal CG of the DLC3.

Symptom Trouble Area
  • There is no resistance between terminal 22 (CA2H) of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal 4 (CG) of the DLC3, or terminal 7 (CA2L) of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal 4 (CG) of the DLC3.*1
  • There is no resistance between terminal 24 (CA2H) of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal 4 (CG) of the DLC3, or terminal 23 (CA2L) of the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) and terminal 4 (CG) of the DLC3.*2
  • Short to GND in CAN main bus wire
  • Short to GND in CAN branch wire
  • Central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU)
  • Steering sensor
  • Rack and pinion power steering gear assembly
  • Airbag ECU assembly
  • ECM*1
  • Yaw rate sensor*1
  • Skid control ECU assembly*1
  • Brake booster assembly (No. 1 skid control ECU)*2
  • Brake actuator assembly (No. 2 skid control ECU)*2
