Caution / Notice / Hint

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the electrical key and TPMS receiver assembly removal/installation are shown below.

  • Tire pressure warning ECU and receiver
  • Tire pressure warning valve and transmitter
  • Register transmitter ID
  • Initialize tire pressure warning system
  • Perform tire position identification
  • When DTC detection conditions of "transmitter ID not received" DTC are met, TPWS indicator blinks for 1 minute, and then illuminates.

HINT: 

When the cable is disconnected/reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.
