DTC C051D-54: Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Missing Calibration; DTC C1210-54: Yaw Rate Sensor Missing Calibration [09/2018 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM CALIBRATION 
    1. Using the Techstream, perform "Calibration".

      Refer to CALIBRATION [09/2018 - 10/2023]

      Result

      Proceed to

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2019 - 10/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 10/2023]

      Chassis > Brake > Clear DTCs 

    2. Turn the engine switch off.
    3. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2018 - 10/2023]

      Chassis > Brake > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs C051D-54 and C1210-54 are not output. A
      DTCs C051D-54 and/or C1210-54 are output. B

    Result:

  3. CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR INSTALLATION 
    1. Turn the engine switch off.
    2. Check that the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) has been installed properly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to INSTALLATION [11/2021 - 10/2023]

      OK

      The sensor should be tightened to the specified torque.

      The sensor should not be installed in a tilted position.

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR CORRECTLY. Refer to  INSTALLATION [09/2018 - 10/2020]  , or refer to  INSTALLATION [10/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  INSTALLATION [11/2021 - 10/2023] 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (YAW RATE SENSOR) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Select the Data List using the Techstream.

      Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2018 - 10/2023]

    REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

    REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2023]
