DTC C1300: Skid Control ECU Malfunction [03/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2017 - 09/2018]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs 

    2. Turn the engine switch off.
    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    4. Check if the same DTC is output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2017 - 09/2018]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC C1300 is stored as a present or history DTC. A
      DTC C1241/41 is output. B
      DTCs are not output. C

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC (C1241/41). Refer to  DTC C1241/41: Low Battery Positive Voltage; DTC C1242/42: Open in IG1 / IG2 Power Source Circuit [03/2017 - 09/2018] 

    Result: 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2017 - 04/2020] 

    Result:

  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Check the INF code from the Freeze Frame Data stored when DTC (C1300) was stored.

      Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [03/2017 - 05/2023]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      INF code 1133, 1134, 1135 or 1136 is output. A
      INF codes other than 1133, 1134, 1135 and 1136 are output. B

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC (C1241/41). Refer to  DTC C1241/41: Low Battery Positive Voltage; DTC C1242/42: Open in IG1 / IG2 Power Source Circuit [03/2017 - 09/2018] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]
