DTC B150D: Open in Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Circuit [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

   Engine Oil Temperature	Engine oil temperature	Min.: 0°C (32°F), Max.: 255°C (491°F)	When the indicator is in the center of the engine oil temperature receiver gauge: 80 to 105°C (176 to 221°F) When the indicator is in the red zone of the engine oil temperature receiver gauge: 140°C (284°F) or more	-

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - ] 

1. Remove the oil temperature sensor.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

2. Inspect the oil temperature sensor.

   Refer to INSPECTION [11/2021 - ]

   Result

   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

1. Disconnect the K3 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K3-24 (GAGE) - F158-2 (OT+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K3-32 (GND) - F158-1 (OT-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result
