DTC B1508-19: Turn Signal/Hazard Flasher Circuit Current Above Threshold [08/2021 - ]: Description

This DTC is stored when the combination meter assembly detects a short in a turn signal light circuit.

HINT: 

If there is a short in a turn signal light circuit, the turn signal lights on the side with the short circuit will blink faster than usual.

B1508-19 Turn Signal/Hazard Flasher Circuit Current Above Threshold Diagnosis Condition:
  1. Battery voltage is 10 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. Short in turn signal light circuit
  • Headlight assembly
    • Headlight ECU sub-assembly
    • Headlight unit assembly*1
    • Front turn signal light bulb*2
  • Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly*3
  • Outer rear view mirror assembly
    • Outer mirror retractor
    • Side turn signal light assembly
  • Rear combination light assembly
  • Hazard warning signal switch assembly
  • Harness or connector
  • Combination meter assembly
