DTC B1ACC-71: Rear Door Right Speaker Cable Actuator Stuck [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK OPTIONAL COMPONENTS 
    1. Check installed audio system and proceed to the following step.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the G11 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the M1 Rear speaker assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G11-9 (RR+) - M1-2 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G11-24 (RR-) - M1-1 (-) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to INSPECTION [06/2018 - ]

    Result

    Proceed to
    OK
    NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

    2. In accordance with the display of the GTS, perform a speaker circuit energization inspection.

      Refer to UTILITY [09/2022 - ]

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Utility 

      Tester Display
      Speaker Line Electricity Check
    3. Check for DTCs and proceed to the following step.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTC B1ACC-71 is output B

    Result: 

    A 

    END (REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH IS DEFECTIVE) 

    Result: 

    B 

    REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2022 - ] 

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the G11 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the M1 Rear speaker assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G11-9 (RR+) - M1-2 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G11-24 (RR-) - M1-1 (-) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  6. REPLACE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Replace the speaker assembly with a new or known good one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

      Result

  7. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

    2. In accordance with the display of the GTS, perform a speaker circuit energization inspection.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Utility 

      Tester Display
      Speaker Line Electricity Check
    3. Check for DTCs and proceed to the following step.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

      DTC B1ACC-71 is output B

    Result:

    END (REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH IS DEFECTIVE)
