DTC B15F6: Main Body ECU Vehicle Information Reading/Writing Process Malfunction [06/2018 - 09/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

      OK

      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

      Result

  2. CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM 
    1. Check if the power door lock control system is malfunctioning.

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

      HINT: 

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the power door lock control system.

      OK

      No malfunctions are present in the power door lock control system.

      Result

  3. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM 
    1. Check if the wireless door lock control system is malfunctioning.

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the wireless door lock control system.

      No malfunctions are present in the wireless door lock control system.

  6. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS 
    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.
    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

      HINT: 

      The items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In the following steps, the Techstream will be used.

      1. To match-up the items on the multi-display assembly with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen.

        Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [06/2018 - 09/2022]

      2. To match-up the items on the multi-display assembly with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen.

        Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [06/2018 - 09/2022]

      3. To match-up the items on the multi-display assembly with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (for Interior) related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen.

        Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [06/2018 - ]

      4. To match-up the items on the multi-display assembly with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (for Exterior) related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen.

        Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [08/2021 - 09/2022]

    3. Using the Techstream, check that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the multi-display assembly screen.

      OK

      The items available for customization via the multi-display assembly screen can be customized successfully using the Techstream.
