Removal [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [09/2022 - ]
- REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
- Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.NOTE:
If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
HINT:
Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
- Disengage the 4 clamps to separate the vacuum hose from the intake air surge tank assembly.
- Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
- Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
- Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.NOTE:
If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
HINT:
Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
- Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
- REMOVE SPARK PLUG
