Removal [06/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]

  2. REMOVE ECM 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 10/2019]

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

  5. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and front lower No. 1 floor heat insulator from the vehicle body.

  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 09/2022] 

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
    1. Remove the No. 1 console box duct.

  8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. While disengaging the clip as shown in the illustration, disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission control shaft lever together with the clip.

      *a Clip
      *b 45° to 60°
    2. Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts and then remove the transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.
