DTC C0610-12: Right Electric Parking Brake Actuator Control Circuit Short to Battery [08/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Make sure the No. 1 parking brake wire assembly is securely installed.
3. Disconnect the b1 parking brake actuator assembly RH connector.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - ] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the bN3 No. 1 parking brake wire assembly connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Parking Brake Wire Assembly)

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   bN3-2 - bN3-1	Electric parking brake not operating	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY 

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the bN3 No. 1 parking brake wire assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the A54 parking brake ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
