Removal [09/2015 - 12/2017]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 2 TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs to disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
- Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs to disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH

- REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Disengage the 4 wire harness clamps.
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (for Bank 1) connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts to remove the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly and exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).
Bolt Nut - Remove the 2 exhaust pipe gaskets from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Disengage the 4 wire harness clamps.
- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)

- REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET (for Lower Side) WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY WARNING:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)
