Removal [09/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  5. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the transmission oil cooler air duct from the oil cooler assembly.
  6. DISCONNECT NO. 1 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 1 transmission oil cooler hose assembly from the oil cooler assembly.

      NOTE:

      Use a container to catch any fluid which flows out of the No. 1 transmission oil cooler hose assembly and oil cooler assembly.

  7. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and oil cooler assembly from the transmission oil cooler stay.

      NOTE:

      Use a container to catch any fluid which flows out of the oil cooler assembly.

  8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER STAY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the transmission oil cooler stay is necessary.

    1. Remove the bolt, nut and transmission oil cooler stay from the vehicle body.
