Removal [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure
- REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2014 - 09/2015], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2015 - 09/2017]
- REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2014 - 09/2015], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [09/2015 - 09/2017]
- REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
- Lift the front end of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration and detach the 2 hooks from the rear seat cushion lock hook section.
*a Rear seat cushion lock hook section *b Hook section at rear of rear seat cushion frame NOTE:The rear seat cushion frame will deform if lifted at a position far from the rear seat cushion lock hook.
- Detach the 2 hooks of the rear of the rear seat cushion frame.
- Pass the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH through the rubber band of the rear seat cushion assembly.
- Remove the bench type rear seat cushion assembly.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
- Lift the front end of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration and detach the 2 hooks from the rear seat cushion lock hook section.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2014 - 09/2015], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [09/2015 - 09/2017]
- REMOVE NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD
- REMOVE NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the No. 3 battery service cover board.
- REMOVE REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH
See step 13
- REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH
- Operate the rear power seat switch to fold down the rear seatback assembly LH.
- Using a clip remover, detach the 4 clips.
- Operate the rear power seat switch to move the rear seatback assembly LH to the upright position.
- Disconnect the connector.
*1 Clamp *2 Guide - Detach the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Detach the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback assembly LH.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
- REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
- Operate the rear power seat switch to fold down the rear seatback assembly RH.
- Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips.
- Operate the rear power seat switch to move the rear seatback assembly RH to the upright position.
- Disconnect the connector.
*1 Clamp *2 Guide - Detach the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Detach the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback assembly RH.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
- REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD
- REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2014 - 09/2015], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2015 - 09/2017]
- REMOVE SPARE TIRE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2014 - 09/2015], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2015 - 09/2017]
- REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH

- REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH

- REMOVE NO. 1 TOOL BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY
