Removal [09/2017 - 05/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2017 - 05/2019]

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - 05/2019]

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  8. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. for 8 inch:

      1. Remove the 2 bolts.
      2. Move the multi-display assembly with bracket as indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the 2 clips.

      3. Detach the 3 guides.

      4. Disconnect the 3 connector.

      5. Detach the clamp and remove the multi-display assembly with bracket.
    2. for 10.3 inch:

      1. Remove the 2 bolts.
      2. Move the multi-display assembly with bracket as indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the 2 clips.

      3. Detach the 3 guides.

      4. Disconnect the 3 connector.

      5. Detach the clamp and remove the multi-display assembly with bracket.
  9. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET A 
    1. for 8 inch:
      1. Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Remove the 2 screws and multi-display controller bracket A.

    2. for 10.3 inch:
      1. Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Remove the 2 screws and multi-display controller bracket A.
