Removal [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure

- Handle components indoors as much as possible to prevent foreign matter from entering and adhering to clock assembly components.
- When installing components, make sure that the heater control cable sub-assembly is not pinched or pulled.

- REMOVE CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY NOTE:
- Prevention of static electricity is required during this procedure.
- Use static electricity countermeasures SST (desktop anti-static mat set) and observe all precautions to prevent damage to the system by electrostatic discharge (ESD).

- Remove the 6 screws and cover.
Release the connector lock and disconnect the heater control cable sub-assembly.
- Insert a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape at the position shown in the illustration, detach the 2 claws and remove the clock assembly.
*a Rib Protective Tape NOTE:Do not grab the rib and detach the claw.
- REMOVE HEATER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY NOTE:
- Prevention of static electricity is required during this procedure.
- Use static electricity countermeasures SST (desktop anti-static mat set) and observe all precautions to prevent damage to the system by electrostatic discharge (ESD).
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacing the heater control cable sub-assembly.
